Lead Data Scientist

We are seeking a seasoned Data Lead to spearhead our data management team.

The ideal candidate will oversee the development and implementation of data-driven solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain expertise in SQL Server and query optimization techniques for efficient data processing.
  • Drive business growth through application data design and process management.
  • Develop scalable and maintainable data architectures using data modeling principles.
  • Prioritize large-scale data processing solutions with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Databricks.
  • Manage ETL processes, including data cleaning and normalization, to ensure high-quality data.
  • Foster collaboration between stakeholders and team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Spearhead initiatives to enhance data governance, compliance, and security measures.

Your Role Includes:

  • Leading a team of 4-5 developers and taking ownership of deliverables.
  • Maintaining strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Collaborating with customers during project implementation and explaining complex technical concepts.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data management, analytics, and visualization.

Nice to Have:

  • Proficiency in SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Analysis Service, and Data Marts.
  • Experience with ETL tools like Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Python, and SSIS.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI for data visualization, data modeling, and DAX queries.
