Quality Assurance Lead

About the Role

This position is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of products. Key responsibilities include understanding software requirements, developing test plans, preparing test scenarios, and implementing Quality Assurance best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Understand software requirements and develop test plans in collaboration with the lead/manager.
  • Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive testing.
  • Implement Quality Assurance best practices to ensure high-quality products.
  • Develop complex test data sets and execute tests (manual / automated).
  • Identify and select test cases for automation and create, enhance, debug, and execute automation test cases using Selenium and BDD framework.
  • Suggest improvements on the automation framework and report defects.
  • Collaborate with product developers, direct manager, and engineering peers to develop solutions and contribute to forward direction.
  • Responsible for Quality Checks and adhering to the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) / Turn Around Time (TAT).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields.
  • 7+ years of professional work experience in Software Testing – Manual & Automation and Quality Assurance practice.
  • Exposure to Trade Finance platforms and experience in testing web applications, database, and APIs.
  • Strong expertise in Functional and Non-Functional testing like System, Integration, Regression, Database, Performance, Stress, etc.
  • Experience in design and development of Test Automation Framework leveraging relevant code libraries and proficiency in Quality Assurance methodologies.

  • Financial Services knowledge.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and multitask.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong track record of excellent results delivered to internal or external clients.
