Senior Developer Position

We are seeking a seasoned senior developer to join our team as we undertake various projects utilizing PHP and the Symfony framework.

The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of PHP, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts, coding best practices, and source control (preferably GIT) is also essential.

In addition, the candidate should have experience working with Bootstrap, Linux (preferably Ubuntu), relational databases (preferably MySQL), and DevOps tools such as Ansible. Knowledge of Docker, Agile Development, Test Driven Development, and RESTful APIs / SOA would be advantageous.

This role involves collaborating with a small team environment, effectively communicating with the development team and business analysts, and mentoring junior developers. The candidate should demonstrate a strong sense of task ownership and enjoy self-directed work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy web applications using PHP and the Symfony framework.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize project tasks.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the transformation of enterprise systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of development experience.
  • Excellent command of PHP, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts and coding best practices.
  • Experience with Bootstrap, Linux, relational databases, and DevOps tools.
