We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Legal Counsel-Litigation Support to join our team at Triangulas HR Solutions LLP. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing expert legal advice and support to our banking and finance clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide legal advice and support to senior management and other stakeholders on litigation and recovery matters.
- Review and analyze legal documents, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce non-performing assets (NPAs) and minimize litigation risks.
- Liaise with external counsel, courts, and regulatory bodies to resolve legal issues and ensure compliance.
- Monitor and track litigation cases, providing regular updates and reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including collections, business, and vigilance, to ensure effective recovery and minimization of NPAs.
- Graduate in Law (5-year or 3-year regular course) from a recognized University.
- At least 10 years of experience in legal departments of a bank/financial institution.
- Excellent understanding of recovery of loans, SARFAESI action, bankruptcy proceedings, Lok Adalat, Arbitration, NCLT, and other relevant laws.
- Drafting and communication skills, with the ability to prepare presentations and regulatory guidelines.
