System analysts play a vital role in software development by bridging the gap between business requirements and technical capabilities.

This position involves close collaboration with an agile team to create and communicate requirements for the MSP product.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the agile team to craft user stories and acceptance criteria that meet the needs of the MSP product.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into actionable ICE services through data mapping and analysis.
  • Participate in business process redesign and documentation, ensuring seamless integration of new or changing technology.
Required Capabilities and Skills:

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in the Mortgage, Finance, or Banking domain, with a deep understanding of complex systems and processes.
  • Prior experience or knowledge of verifying batch reports and CICS screens in mainframe systems is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of US Mortgage Investor functionality is a plus.
  • Ability to write comprehensive functional specification documents based on requirements, with a focus on expected changes in the current system.
  • Ability to test functionality to validate that the modified requirements are as expected.
  • Proficiency in defining user story acceptance criteria using the GWT format (Behavior-Driven Development) for the MSP product.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps is preferred.
  • SAFe or Agile certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience in SoapUI is highly preferred.
  • Some knowledge of Microservices and APIs is a plus.
  • Experience with prototyping/UML tools like Visio, Balsamiq, etc.
Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in the IT industry, with at least 5 years as a Business Analyst, preferably in the Mortgage, Finance, or Banking domain.
Educational Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree, MBA, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
