Ecommerce Expert

This is a full-time remote position that requires 3-5 years of experience in Shopify development.

The ideal candidate will have strong coding skills in Liquid, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience with automation tools like Zapier, Make.com, or n8n. They should also be comfortable building and maintaining integrations between Shopify, CRM, fulfillment, analytics, and marketing tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript
• Optimizing site performance, speed, and user experience
• Creating and maintaining integrations across Shopify, CRM, fulfillment, analytics, and marketing tools
• Building automated workflows using tools like Zapier, Make.com, or n8n to streamline processes and eliminate manual work
• Setting up advanced tracking solutions (GA4, server-side tagging, attribution tools) for accurate data reporting
• Collaborating with marketing and analytics teams to optimize conversion tracking
• Implementing SEO best practices including structured data, page speed improvements, and clean URL structures
• Evaluating, installing, and maintaining third-party apps and Shopify Plus features as needed
• Troubleshooting integration and functionality issues
• Partnering with marketing, operations, and product teams to align store functionality with business objectives
• Taking ownership of the Shopify tech stack and supporting long-term eCommerce growth initiatives

Requirements:

• Strong coding skills in Liquid, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with automation tools like Zapier, Make.com, or n8n
• Comfortable building and maintaining integrations between Shopify, CRM, fulfillment, analytics, and marketing tools

Bonus Requirements:

• Experience setting up advanced tracking (GA4, server-side tagging, attribution tools)
• Familiarity with 3rd-party apps and Shopify Plus features
• Understanding of SEO technical requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 3–5+ years of hands-on Shopify development at a brand doing $2M+ in annual revenue
• Proven coding experience with Liquid, HTML/CSS, JavaScript
• Good written and verbal communication skills
