Job Title: Graphic Designer/Video Editor


We are looking for a skilled Graphic Designer/Video Editor to create engaging and on-brand graphics and videos for various media. The role involves the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics/art, including illustrations, logos, layouts, and photos, as well as video editing skills to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the company's vision and is suitable for broadcasting.


As a Video Editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together to tell a cohesive story. You'll be responsible for shaping the visual aspects of videos, magazines, product packaging, hoardings, Facebook ads, and Google ads, among others. Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message.


To achieve this, you'll need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we'd like to meet you. The goal is to inspire and attract the target audience.


Responsibilities:



  • Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience.
  • Take a brief to grasp the production team's needs and specifications.
  • Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity.
  • Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.
  • Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
  • Create rough and final cuts.
  • Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
  • Consult with stakeholders from production to the post-production process.
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.

Requirements:



  • Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
  • Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Final Cut Pro).
  • Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
  • Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
  • Familiarity with special effects and compositing.
  • Creative mind and storytelling skills.

Requirements (Graphic Designing):



  • Proven graphic design experience. Art background is also appreciated.
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations and other graphics.
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign).
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.

Required Qualification:



  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or related field.
  • 2 to 4 years experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing graphic design and video editing skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • Experience working with various file formats and optimizing graphics and videos for web and social media.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to take creative direction and incorporate feedback effectively.
