Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Manager to provide expert technical support across multiple segments within our business. This includes bridging market needs with internal functions, such as R&D, production, and regulatory affairs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical services and formulation support for targeted segments by driving customer solutions and supporting sales.
  • Develop and adapt formulations to meet local market requirements through a thorough understanding of polymer science and standard test methods.
  • Conduct technical training for customers, distributors, and internal teams to ensure prompt, practical solutions are provided.
  • Perform competitive analysis and recommend strategies to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and internal standards, maintaining lab operations efficiently and upholding EHS and ISO requirements.
  • Support customer complaint resolution and application troubleshooting through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain lab equipment, calibrate instruments, and document results accurately and reliably.
  • Participate in field trials and on-site customer visits as needed to gain a deeper understanding of market needs.
  • Contribute to technical papers, exhibitions, and industry seminars to share knowledge and expertise.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is preferred, along with at least 8 years of formulation experience in Polymer dispersions/coatings.
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory or people leadership experience is required, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills.
  • A sound understanding of polymer science and standard test methods is essential for success in this role.
  • Strong customer focus, combined with the ability to provide prompt, practical solutions, is crucial for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • A deep knowledge of core markets, competitors, and emulsion polymer technology is necessary for making informed decisions and staying ahead in the industry.
