Job Title: Embedded Electronics Design Expert

About the Role:

  • Develop and drive the hardware architecture and component selection for next-generation automotive audio systems.
  • Select semiconductor solutions for automotive audio, designing electronic components and systems that power car audio systems with high-quality sound and seamless integration with vehicle technology.
  • Collaborate closely with vehicle architects, safety engineers, and buyers to ensure chosen components meet performance, reliability, and cost requirements.
  • Recommend electronic audio components, including amplifiers, microphone interfaces/audio ADCs, digital signal processors, audio power circuitry/power management ICs, speaker interfaces, digital audio interfaces (A2B, Ethernet, etc.), active noise cancellation/Road noise cancellation designs.
  • Familiarity with relevant automotive safety and quality standards, such as ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100.
  • Experience with acoustic measurement instruments and audio data acquisition, analysis systems, and Audio Precision.
  • Work with silicon vendor partners to drive design features and technology roadmaps.
  • Support HW engineering teams during advanced design phases, system architecture definitions, and ECU development/qualifications.
  • Able to collaborate with a global team across different regions and time zones.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunication, or equivalent engineering disciplines.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in automotive embedded electronics design or hardware/system architectural roles.
  • Knowledge of In-Vehicle Infotainment systems, Audio systems, Automotive vehicle connectivity systems, and ECU design, development, and testing.
  • Experience in Automotive ECU design, Audio standards, automotive testing, and certification.
  • Strong teamwork spirit, excellent oral and written communication skills.
