Virtual Reality Training Developer Opportunity
\We are seeking a skilled Freelance AR Developer with expertise in Unity to help us create innovative mobile AR features. This contract, remote role involves building and shipping markerless/object tracking, plane/mesh, depth & occlusion, anchors, hit-testing for iOS and Android.
\The ideal candidate will integrate OpenCV for image/object detection, segmentation, and enhance AR interactions. They will also optimize the app's real-time performance across multiple devices.
\The successful Freelance AR Developer will be responsible for debugging & release pipelines (Xcode, Gradle, TestFlight/internal testing), writing concise tech notes, and ensuring seamless integration of OpenCV.
\- Essential Skills:
- 3+ years of hands-on AR development experience; proficiency in Unity (AR Foundation 4/5), ARCore & ARKit features in production apps.
- Proven object tracking experience and OpenCV integration.
- Strong profiling and optimization skills on mobile (Unity Profiler, Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler).
- Proficiency in Git, CI basics, modular code, and excellent troubleshooting abilities.
- Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Shader Graph/HLSL for lightweight VFX/occlusion tricks, Sentis/Barracuda or on-device ML, Niantic Lightship.
- Shipping experience to App Store/Play, automated build/test.
