Job Summary:

As a seasoned Oracle Database Administrator, you will be part of a global delivery center in Pune, Bangalore and Ahmedabad, supporting international markets and business operations.

About the Role:

  • Oracle Database Administration on UNIX with experience in Oracle 11g, 12c and above
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an Oracle DBA
  • ProvideDBA implementation and support for Oracle migrations and upgrades, including environments using Oracle Dataguard
  • At least 3 years of experience with Data Guard, Golden Gate and RAC is required
  • Knowledge to perform software installations, upgrades, migrations and apply patches
  • Extensive hands-on experience in database migration, Oracle Backup/Recovery (expdp/impdp, RMAN)
  • Database performance tuning, and capacity planning experience
  • Core competencies include: Oracle RAC, Oracle Dataguard, Oracle Golden Gate, RMAN, impdp/expdp, Upgradation, Patching

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth database operations
  • Develop and implement database solutions to meet business needs
  • Perform regular backups and recoveries to minimize data loss
  • Monitor and analyze database performance to optimize efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to maintain expertise

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of Oracle DBA experience
  • Strong knowledge of Unix, Linux
