At our organization, we are seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Cloud Engineering Manager.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Design, deploy and manage scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud solutions on AWS.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or other IaC tools.
  • Automate deployments and operations using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, AWS CodePipeline).
  • Manage and optimize AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, EKS, and IAM.
  • Monitor cloud environments using AWS CloudWatch and third-party monitoring tools.
  • Ensure security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with development and Operations teams to enhance cloud-based solutions.


Requirements:



  • 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud engineering.
  • Proficiency in AWS services, networking, and security concepts.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
  • AWS certification (AWS Solution Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, or equivalent is a plus)

  • Clear communication to stakeholders at all levels. Ability to articulate progress, issues, and blockers in a clear and timely manner.
  • Experience with Agile methods of working and concepts.
  • Ability to help train and upskill other team members.
  • Strong documentation and ability to define processes.
