About the Role

We are seeking a Full-time Occupational Therapist to join our team located in Pune.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to children with various developmental, physical, and cognitive challenges. The Occupational Therapist (Children) will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to promote independence, improve functional skills, and enhance the quality of life for children and their families.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assessment and Evaluation:Conduct thorough assessments of children's abilities and develop personalized treatment plans based on the results.
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation:Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs and goals.
  • Direct Therapy Interventions:Provide direct occupational therapy interventions, including therapeutic activities, sensory integration techniques, and adaptive equipment training.
  • Family Collaboration and Education:Collaborate with parents/caregivers to develop and implement home programs, providing education and training on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
  • Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in India.
  • Experience working with children with a variety of developmental, physical, and cognitive challenges.
  • Knowledge of pediatric assessment tools and treatment techniques.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.
