Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

The successful candidate will be responsible for manual functional testing across our platforms, working closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual functional testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on requirements.
  • Validate bug fixes and track issues in a bug tracking system.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure that defects are reported clearly, including steps to reproduce and an impact analysis.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies to align testing with delivery timelines.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with clients and stakeholders.

Performance Metrics (KPIs):

  • Defect Detection Rate: ≥ 95% of critical issues identified before release.
  • Defect Leakage: ≤ 5% of high-severity issues reported post-release.
  • Test Coverage: ≥ 90% of functional requirements validated per sprint.
  • Bug Closure Rate: ≥ 90% of reported bugs resolved within committed sprint.

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in manual QA testing for SaaS or enterprise platforms.
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
  • Ability to write clear and structured test cases.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience testing AMS, LMS, e-commerce, or membership platforms.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (basic validation).
  • Exposure to React/Next.js-based platforms.
  • Understanding of accessibility and performance testing basics.
