Product Issue Manager

Job Title:

A Quality Assurance Expert is required to manage the resolution of product issues, collaborating with Support, Engineering and Infrastructure teams.

This role involves analyzing production problems, identifying causes and implementing solutions to enhance customer satisfaction. The selected candidate will also contribute to product improvement by working closely with Sales teams on technical questions related to our infrastructure in customer RFP's.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and resolve production issues through collaboration with Support and Engineering teams
  • Drive the implementation of learnings from incident analysis and root cause analysis (RCA)
  • Track progress of problem tickets using Jira
  • Prepare incident analysis reports with support from Engineering teams
  • Perform log file analysis using Datadog
  • Debug basic REST API calls for investigations
  • Execute SQL database queries to gather information for investigations
  • Update knowledge base articles in Confluence
  • Participate in security audits (PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC2) and prepare supporting evidence
Requirements:
  • At least 8 years of experience in IT (SRE, sysadmin, developer, QA, technical support or similar)
  • University degree in a relevant field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent collaboration abilities
  • Familiarity with cloud-based systems architecture
  • Data analysis skills - creating and interpreting dashboards to distinguish between real issues and false positives
  • Experience with project management and documentation tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure components, preferably AWS
  • Experience with REST APIs and tools e.g. Postman
  • Experience with application logging/monitoring tools e.g. Kibana, Datadog;
  • Experience with SQL, Linux & Network environments
  • Willingness to continuously learn new technical skills
Desirable Skills:
  • Understanding of basic machine learning concepts
  • Experience with Git or similar version control system
  • Agile software development process
  • Jenkins or similar CI pipeline
  • Bash scripting for Linux
  • Basic programming skills e.g. Java, Python, JavaScript, Go;
  • Experience with Docker & Microservices
  • Network and application security
  • Working within a PCI DSS environment
