About the Job

We're seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing and developing scalable pipelines to process and transform large datasets using Spark.

You'll work with Azure Databricks and Datalake to develop APIs using Python's Flask framework, collaborating with Architects and Business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.

Maintain and improve existing reporting pipelines and infrastructure, leveraging your expertise in data manipulation libraries like Pandas and Numpy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable pipelines using Spark
  • Design and develop robust frameworks for generating PDF reports using Python Spark
  • Utilize Snowflake Spark SQL to perform aggregations on high volumes of data
  • Develop Stored Procedures, Views, Indexes, Triggers, and Functions in Snowflake Database
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
  • Maintain and improve existing reporting pipelines and infrastructure
Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a strong understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes is essential.

Proficiency in Python, experience in data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and Numpy, and familiarity with Azure cloud services are required.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work independently, and manage multiple tasks effectively are highly valued.
