We are seeking a highly skilled Video Content Specialist to join our team. As a key player in shaping our content strategy, you will create engaging videos that captivate millions of students and creators in the education ecosystem.
About This RoleThis is not just a job for someone who can edit videos. It requires a creative genius who can craft compelling stories, experiment with new formats, and leverage AI tools to work smarter and faster.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Edit short-form and long-form videos with a focus on short-form content.
- Design hooks that capture students' attention and keep them engaged.
- Collaborate with strategists, writers, and creators to develop an end-to-end content pipeline.
- Create a consistent brand identity across all videos.
- Experiment with trending formats, sounds, and editing styles daily.
We are looking for a content nerd who is passionate about studying reels and shorts, a storyteller who can turn dry topics into engaging content, and a growth-driven editor who cares about performance and aesthetics.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in editing video content that has scaled.
- Prior experience in shot/produced content is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application in video editing.
This role will evolve from owning Leap's short-form engine to building new IPs, scaling channels, and directly influencing revenue. You will have ownership of metrics like retention, virality, and channel growth.
