The role of a software development expert involves designing, developing, and maintaining software applications to meet business requirements.
Key responsibilities include adhering to security and control processes, designing and developing client/server based procedures, and working with IT support teams to ensure support and project requirements are developed and successfully implemented.
Additionally, the role requires collaborating with business and IT teams to understand business requirements, translating business requirements into formal technical requirements, and developing and executing unit test and integration plans/scripts.
A successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to adapt and develop interfaces, and possess the ability to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly.
Required skills and qualifications include experience with MS Visual Studio, .NET, C#, SQL Server, and Javascript, as well as knowledge of ALM or similar tools and Azure.
Preferred qualifications include exposure to collaboration tools like Jira/Confluence and educational qualifications such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
