AI Chemistry Specialist Role Overview

Are you an analytical chemistry expert looking to leverage your skills in a cutting-edge AI project? This role is perfect for individuals with a strong foundation in chemistry and a passion for using their knowledge to fine-tune large language models.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of complex chemistry problems, be able to break them down into simple explanations, and work efficiently. Your ability to analyze and solve advanced chemistry problems will be crucial in this role.

  • You would spend time solving a variety of advanced chemistry problems, including those at the undergraduate and graduate level, and creating detailed explanations. You'll regularly work with a mix of chemistry content—combining text with images, chemical equations, diagrams, and visual representations.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyzing and explaining complex organic reaction mechanisms, providing both textual explanations and annotated chemical structures.
  2. Solving problems involving chemical equilibrium, accompanied by visual representations of reaction progress and energy diagrams, and explaining the process using both text and visual aids.
  3. Addressing challenging problems involving stoichiometry, thermodynamics, organic chemistry, and electrochemistry, typical of Engineering Entrance Exam or Engineering College level questions, utilizing a combination of textual, visual, and diagrammatic explanations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualification: A Ph.D./Postdoctoral degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field is required.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations.
  • Creative and lateral thinking abilities.
  • Excellent structured communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
