Role Overview
  • We are seeking a seasoned Senior Mobile Developer with extensive expertise in Android development to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
  1. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining and innovating large-scale consumer-facing mobile applications for the Android platform.
  2. Utilizing strong knowledge of Java and Android APIs, the successful candidate will build robust applications.
  3. He/she will participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  4. Collaboration with the team to solve complex technical challenges is essential.
Essential Skills
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Android programming is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Java and Android APIs is necessary.
  • Experience with object-oriented languages (OOD) is also required.
  • Web services experience, either consuming or creating, using REST or SOAP is a must.
  • A strong understanding of software design/architecture processes is essential.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences, are necessary.
  • Preferably, experience with social, mobile, cloud/SaaS, big data, or analytics would be beneficial.
  • Preferably, familiarity with the development challenges inherent to highly scalable and available web applications would be advantageous.
Qualifications
  • A B.E., B.Tech., or M.Tech. in computer science from a reputable institution is a requirement.
  • Immediate availability is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Candidates will be asked to provide a link to any Android applications they have developed.
