**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems, firmware development, and software design.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing firmware for various embedded systems, including microcontrollers and embedded operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop firmware solutions using C/C++ programming languages, with a focus on performance, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware with hardware and software components.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement firmware architectures that meet project requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and efficient coding standards.
  • Contribute to the improvement of our product development processes and methodologies.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with 6-8 years of experience in firmware development.
  • Proven track record of developing original designs with C/C++ in embedded environments, including bare-metal, multi-threaded RTOS, and embedded operating systems.
  • Familiarity with common 8/16/32-bit microcontroller and/or embedded processing platforms such as STM32 and ESP32.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and scrum teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development tools and methodologies used in the context of embedded systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with various cultures across the globe.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with electronics lab equipment, low-level drivers, and hardware integration.
  • Familiarity with source control via established systems such as Git.
  • Proficiency in writing specifications and end-user documentation.
