Job Title: Software Test Engineer

    We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and executing system tests for various networking devices and servers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create testbeds using networking devices and servers to validate wireless and proprietary features.
  • Conduct end-to-end validation of client to cloud architecture, recreate customer issues in the lab, and collaborate with engineering teams to drive resolution.
  • Perform performance testing using iPerf and work closely with the CS team to review customer report defects and enhance test coverage.
  • Escalate critical issues timely and create technical documentation for CS and QA teams in Confluence.
  • Train and guide Level 1/2 Engineers on emerging wireless technologies.
Requirements:

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Lead Engineer with 8+ years of experience.
  • BE/ME/MS in EE, CS or related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax protocol standards.
  • Hands-on experience in QA validation of Enterprise grade Wireless Access Points.
  • Basic concepts of routing and switching (including VLAN, DHCP, DNS, NAT, Trunk/Native).
  • Experience in troubleshooting based on Wireless packet captures.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • CWNA/CWSP/CWAP Certified.
  • Scripting in Python.
  • Experience on ISE/ClearPass.
