About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog and Mixed Signal Design Expert to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for creating innovative solutions in the field of custom IC design.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving analog design innovation and best practices across their organization. They should be well-versed in building, mentoring, and guiding teams to successfully execute complex PMICs with integrated power converters and precision analog control and sensing circuitry.

The successful candidate will work independently with minimal supervision to design complex analog circuits or lead projects with multiple cross-functional engineers. They will operate with complete block/project ownership to drive all aspects of the block/project to successful completion within the committed schedule.

Key responsibilities may include making assignments for team members, providing design guidance as needed, developing schedules, and monitoring progress throughout the project. The candidate will also evaluate intermediate and final results of projects during the design phase and during silicon evaluation to ensure accomplishment of technical objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven skillset in analog and mixed signal design with a passion for Tier 1 custom IC development
  • Experience in driving analog design innovation and best practices across the organization
  • Ability to build, mentor, and guide teams to successfully execute complex PMICs
  • Strong technical leadership and ability to work hands-on in analog circuits and systems
  • Experience in managing design workloads and delegating tasks for project success
  • Delivering accurate, aggressive, but attainable design schedules to the product team and customers
  • Theoretical background and practical experience in mixed-signal IC design
  • Competency in the analysis, transistor level design, and system implementation of basic analog functions including amplifiers, bandgaps, comparators, LDO's, charge pumps, ADC's, DAC's, or switching regulators
  • Capable of hand analysis as well as working knowledge and familiarity with simulation tools (SPICE, Spectre, VHDL, etc.)
