About the Role:

At Bechtel, we are committed to delivering exceptional results and building inspiring projects. As a Senior Project Accounting Shared Services Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting our project accounting teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Tasks: Perform a variety of accounting tasks applying technical accounting and financial practices and concepts.
  • Problem-Solving: Use judgment and resourcefulness to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies.
  • Team Collaboration: Liaise with procurement and BBS accounting teams to resolve matching and PO setup issues.
  • Leadership: Lead weekly hold report meetings with stakeholders and perform monthly cost accrual journal entries.
  • Billing Coordination: Engage with billing team, issue invoices to customers, and prepare specific reports based on project requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: At least 4-5 years of accounting or finance experience.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles, Excel software, and Oracle subledger systems.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and ability to lead meetings.
