Job Opportunity: Academic Leadership Role

About the Position

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified individual to fill the role of Associate Professor in our Department of Computer Science Engineering.

The ideal candidate will possess over 15+ years of combined teaching, research, and industry experience, along with a minimum of 5+ years post-PhD academic experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching: Deliver high-quality instruction at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Computer Science Engineering, fostering a dynamic learning environment.
  • Research Guidance: Mentor students in projects, theses, and research activities, promoting innovation and excellence.
  • Research Initiatives: Lead and contribute to research endeavors, publishing in reputable journals and presenting at conferences.
  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement innovative curriculum and course materials, aligning with industry trends and academic standards.
  • PhD Supervision: Provide guidance and support to PhD scholars, cultivating a research-oriented atmosphere within the department.
  • Departmental Administration: Participate in departmental administration, academic committees, and university initiatives, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Industry Collaboration: Collaborate with industry partners for consultancy projects, workshops, and seminars, promoting interdisciplinary research.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Over 15+ years of combined teaching, research, and industry experience.
  • A minimum of 5+ years post-PhD academic experience.
  • Excellent teaching, research, and leadership skills.
  • A strong track record of publication and presentation in reputable journals and conferences.
  • Ability to design and implement innovative curriculum and course materials.
  • Experience in guiding PhD scholars and fostering a research-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
