BI Data Governance Specialist

Your primary responsibilities will revolve around analyzing the current Power BI tenant environment, identifying inactive or redundant workspaces, and implementing governance structures for workspace creation, ownership, access, and lifecycle. You will also be responsible for customizing FUAM reports and metrics to support monitoring, alerting, and usage insights.

You will collaborate with data engineers to integrate telemetry data into Microsoft Fabric, creating reusable templates or processes for long-term workspace monitoring and governance. Additionally, you will provide technical documentation and handover plans at the end of the engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • A degree in computer science, economics, or a comparable field, along with certifications in Power BI and Fabric.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including tenant-level administration and monitoring.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI governance and lifecycle management.
Benefits
