Cloud Security Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based solutions.

About the Role:

This is a strategic position that will significantly contribute to our organization's success by ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud infrastructure.

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud security solutions using a broad range of AWS services (VPC, EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, AWS CLI, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, AWS Config, Kinesis, Route 53, Dynamo DB, and SNS)
  • Implement identity and access management (IAM) controls to manage user and system access securely
  • Collaborate with cloud architects and developers to create security solutions for cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) by designing security controls and ensuring they are integrated into cloud platforms and by ensuring that cloud infrastructure adheres to relevant compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
  • Monitor cloud environments for suspicious activities and threats using tools like SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems
  • Automate cloud security processes using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure secure deployment and configuration
  • Collaborate with DevOps, network, and software development teams to promote secure cloud practices
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and others
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
