Job Overview

As a seasoned aviation engineer, you will lead complex airfield design and maintenance projects from feasibility studies to construction. Your expertise will encompass various technical aspects, including project planning, team management, and communication with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple technical engineering projects, providing leadership and direction to junior team members and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications for airfield engineering projects, adhering to quality management requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, industry associates, and clients to coordinate designs and address queries.
  • Identify and mitigate design risks, issues, and Request for Information (RFIs), ensuring project progress monitoring and contributing to project controls.
Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in civil infrastructure design at airports.
  • Proven expertise in large, complex airport projects from concept to detailed design and construction support.
  • Experience managing engineering professionals in delivering technical aviation projects.
  • Strong communication and self-leadership skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Chartered or Incorporated Status (MICE, MCIHT or equivalent) or relevant demonstrable experience.
