Job Summary

We seek a skilled and motivated Senior Associate, Back-End Engineer to join our Asset Servicing Engineering team in Pune, Maharashtra. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions using Java and associated Back-End Technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal business groups to identify implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements.
  • Analyze complex information and provide actionable recommendations to address and resolve business and technical issues.
  • Participate in team discussions, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the development of best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with BNY Mellon's standard development methodology and best practices.
  • Coordinate and allocate work within a team/project, as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, with proficiency in Java and associated Back-End Technologies.
  • Experience in Spring Framework, Hibernate, and proficiency with Spring Boot.
  • Extensive hands-on knowledge of XML, XSD, XSLT, and JSON.
  • Solid coding and troubleshooting experience on Web Services and RESTful API.
  • Experience in triaging bugs, tracking software defects, and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Strong SQL skills to work with Relational or NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, DevOps processes, CI/CD tools, Git, and Agile methodologies.
