Senior Cloud API Professional

We seek a seasoned API developer to join our team as an APIGEE Developer/Consultant. This role involves designing, developing, and managing APIs using Google APIGEE Edge or APIGEE X. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating scalable, secure, and high-performance API solutions that support business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop APIs using APIGEE Edge / APIGEE X.
- Implement API proxies, policies (security, traffic management, mediation, etc.), and custom scripts.
- Collaborate with architects and backend teams to define API contracts and integration strategies.
- Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and meet performance benchmarks.
- Monitor and troubleshoot API performance and availability issues.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for API deployments.
- Maintain API documentation and version control.
- Work with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.
- 5–8 years of experience in API development using APIGEE.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, and other API security standards.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
