Job Title: VFX Mentor

VFX mentors play a pivotal role in the animation industry, providing invaluable guidance to junior artists and fostering their skills. We are seeking an experienced mentor with strong leadership abilities to spearhead our team's creative endeavors.

Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Training:
  • Develop and implement Houdini software training programs tailored to film and advertising needs.
  • Techincal Expertise:
  • Teach advanced RBD Fracture Simulation techniques and other complex skills to in-house artists.
  • Effective Communication:
  • Enhance individual skills through efficient teaching methods and provide solutions for integration between Houdini, Maya, and Blender.
  • Global Cinema Experience:
  • Share extensive experience as a VFX Artist on various international projects.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record as a VFX Supervisor in film, animation, or TV series production.
  • In-depth understanding of the overall VFX workflow and production process.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with Houdini.
  • Strong Compositing Skills:
  • Proficiency in compositing principles using Nuke.
  • Additional Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of Blender workflow is beneficial.
  • Portfolio showcasing exceptional skills and creative approach.
  • Strong understanding of 3D modeling, lighting, and rendering techniques in Maya or Houdini.
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, artistic, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English language.
