Ecommerce Trading System Tester

As a KDB Test Engineer, you will play a vital role in our data reporting and analytics team. This position is an exciting opportunity to work on an agile multi-asset ecommerce trading system development team distributed between Singapore and London.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the system component design and build, ensuring developed code is fully tested through automated unit tests, and collaborate with development and support teams. They will also adhere to testing best practices, manage application support handover as part of the QA process, maintain and enhance test coverage after project go-live, and collaborate with fellow QA/developers inside/outside FM, Infrastructure units etc.

Mandatory Skills

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in q/KDB
  • Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment
  • Experience of working closely with the development team and product owners on requirements
  • Experience/ability to understand FX products and services
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact with business representatives
  • Experience in test plans, performance tests, and test automation

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Understanding of ecommerce product workflow across front office and middle office tiers
  • KDB/Q, Python, Java
  • KX Control Suite
  • Pipelines – Apache Nifi / Azure DevOps
