Job Title: Data Insights Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our data insights efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence development.

  • Data Modeling: Design, build, and maintain scalable and reusable data models using tools like dbt (Data Build Tool).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers to ingest and transform data from various sources.
  • Data Quality: Ensure data quality, consistency, and documentation across all datasets.
  • Insight Delivery: Collaborate with analysts and business teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Testing and Optimization: Implement and maintain data testing frameworks to validate pipeline integrity, optimize SQL queries and data transformations for performance and scalability.
  • Version Control and CI/CD: Maintain version control and CI/CD pipelines for analytics codebases.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and models in production.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or BI development.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with dbt or similar data modeling tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
