Job Description

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in press shop and weld shop processes, with a strong focus on quality control and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the quality control processes within the press shop and weld shop.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure product quality standards are met.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize defects and improve process efficiency.
  • Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and enhance operational workflows.
  • Analyze production data and implement data-driven solutions for quality improvement.
  • Maintain and update quality documentation and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to quality guidelines and standards.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and quality staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of press shop and weld shop processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in quality testing and measuring tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or quality control role, specifically in press shop and weld shop environments.
