Job Title: Securities Settlement Specialist

The role of a Securities Settlement Specialist involves overseeing the entire securities settlement process, ensuring timely and smooth market settlement of securities and cash transfers between counterparties.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the clearing and settlement process chain
  • Optimizing asset allocation to enhance portfolio performance strategically
  • Maintaining adherence to industry standards and regulations
  • Executing settlements through primary and secondary markets, as well as direct payments

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Performing activities related to the Trade Life Cycle of Fixed Income Securities
  • Trade enrichment Settlement for APAC Europe markets
  • Handling Key Client queries and end-to-end resolutions
  • Process Control checks and Reporting Functions

Required skills and experience include:

  • Responsibility for Back Office operations for Settlement under Fixed Income products
  • Understanding the importance of Time-To-Answer (TAT) Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and proactively maintaining them
  • Liaising with counterparts via mail and phone to ensure smooth settlements
  • Gain Expertise in processing the end-to-end life cycle of Trades
  • Understand and effectively manage risks through timely and accurate escalation and resolution of key issues
