POSITION PURPOSE

The primary objective of this position is to establish the overall S/4HANA process design, mechanisms, and protocols to be followed by all application teams.



To design, develop, and articulate solutions based on internal stakeholders' strategic business needs and technical requirements.



POSITION CONTEXT

The primary role for the incumbent will be to act as the principal day-to-day point of contact for all things related to SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Application.



POSITION SPECIFICATION

Education



Chartered Accountant



Preferred: Certification in SAP S/4HANA



Experience



8-12 years' experience in the SAP with a minimum of 5 years' experience in S/4HANA.



At least 1 support management experience, including year-end process experience



Experience in SAP FICO implementation across multiple company codes and industry verticals



Experience of successfully delivering high performing application solutions that meet scope, cost, and date parameters



Experience in design and development of integration solutions with Ariba, VIM, SFDC in at least 1 project/support is mandatory



Media/Telecom/Utilities industry experience preferred



Experience in Content Finance/ Anaplan is added advantage

Expertise in S/4HANA Finance



Deep understanding of the SAP S/4HANA Architect, including but not limited to AR, AP, Related Trading Partner, multi-GAAP, Funds management in S/4HANA



Integration understanding with Ariba (Procurement), Customer Billing/Invoicing as well as Budgeting & commercials management



Strong familiarity with related FIORI Apps



Understanding of Media planning and content management would be added advantage

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Lead the SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Architecture





  2. Architecture success by continuously providing focus and direction on what matters most and searching for and highlighting best practices or potential disconnects that could destroy value or create risk.

  3. Personally drive the change by being directly and principally involved in the subject matter of major issues so that this role helps manage the "white space" and dependencies by identifying issues, and then coordinating and communicating resolutions to all involved.

  4. Applying sound technical management and development skills throughout the delivery lifecycle, producing high quality solutions

  5. Should be able to understand the technology stack available at SPNI and take call on the ideally suited one for respective interface

  6. Selecting and delivering on the appropriate integration approach

  7. Technical Design, solution architecting, Integration and dataflow architecture



Design system integration solutions





  2. Create and manage the entire SAP S/4HANA solution design

  3. End to End Technical implementation of SAP integration and business function

  4. Prepare blueprint for application solution based on business needs

  5. Translate functional requirements into technical requirements

  6. Oversee development and implementation of projects/programs

  7. Utilize expertise in comparing integration approaches and assessing their relative strengths and limitations in terms of meeting business goals

  8. Deliver the required systems integration solutions for an ongoing transformation and platform changes, ensuring continuity and security of the systems.

  9. Help define the integration and dataflow architecture and evaluate vendor capabilities. Identify gaps in available enterprise services and work on remediation strategies to ensure stability as the underlying platform technologies continue to evolve.

  11. Managing and Timely reporting of various projects in management forums



Drive enhancement initiatives





  2. Connect with business stakeholders and application leads to drive the application enhancement

  3. Oversee architecture alignment of prototyping, testing and roll-out of application upgrades/enhancements

Drive strategic vendor relationships

  3. Actively evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the vendor's implementation and upgrade efforts

  2. Develop project plan with schedule and resource commitments in coordination with vendors

  3. Create all the standard project management documentation, validate project dependencies, managing and mitigating risks

  4. Status Reporting and Risk/Mitigation planning to the PMO team
