Job Title: High-Speed Electrical Validation Engineer

We're seeking a skilled and experienced electrical validation engineer to join our team. As a high-speed electrical validation engineer, you will be responsible for measuring the electrical performance of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe Gen5/6, LPDDR4/5, DDR4/5, and Ethernet (10G, 25G).

You will perform statistical data analysis to validate performance against specifications and write scripts to control test & measurement equipment, thermal controllers, and silicon configurations.

In addition, you will debug and triage validation issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Hands-on experience: With HSIO interface electrical measurements
  • Strong teamwork and independent contribution capabilities
  • Proficiency: With BERTs, VNAs, Oscilloscopes
  • Solid understanding: Of Signal Integrity fundamentals
  • Excellent silicon and platform debug skills
  • Experience: In hardware control software development
  • Basic knowledge: Of LabVIEW or Python scripting

The ideal candidate will have expertise in:

  • High-speed system design: And electrical compliance for protocols
  • Understanding of S-parameters: And their role in validation
  • Experience with high-speed oscilloscopes and analyzers
  • Willingness to learn: New electrical protocols
  • Compliance expertise: In at least two protocols: DDR5, LPDDR5x, eDP, HDMI, USB3/4, PCIe
