Job Title: Skill Development Program Manager

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our skill development programs and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to manage our programs, ensuring they meet their objectives and deliver quality results.

  • Program Management: Develop and implement effective program strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Mobilization: Foster partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance program reach and engagement.
  • Enrolment: Supervise enrolment processes to ensure high-quality candidates are selected.
  • Training: Oversee training processes to ensure participants acquire relevant skills and knowledge.
  • Placement: Coordinate placement activities to support participants in securing employment opportunities.
  • Student Journey Management: Monitor and evaluate student progress throughout the program.
  • Batch Progression and Outcome Monitoring: Analyze program data to inform improvement initiatives.
  • Placement Support: Provide ongoing support to participants in their career development.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and reports to track program progress.
  • Build a Culture: Foster a positive and inclusive program environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure program success.
  • People Management: Lead and motivate a team of staff and trainers to deliver high-quality programs.
  • Financial Management: Manage program budgets and resources to optimize financial performance.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all program activities comply with regulatory requirements and report on progress accordingly.
  • Administration: Provide administrative support to the program team as needed.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the skill development industry, with at least 3 years in team management.
  • Experience in donor-funded skilling operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including patience and perseverance.
  • The ability to counsel students and provide guidance.
  • A passion for working with marginalized communities and making a positive social impact.
  • Prior experience as a Center Head in skill development projects is an added advantage.
