System Integration Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team of innovators. Our technology is key, but it's our people who make the difference.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves working on system integration for SCADA communication gateways in HVDC control and protection systems. You will be responsible for signal distribution between automation devices, handling communication interfaces with subsystems and control systems, and creating project-specific technical specifications and documents.

  • Create and maintain project-specific technical specifications, documents, and manuals.
  • Clarify concepts and functions to be implemented with internal departments and external customers.
  • Administer centralized control and protection signal databases.
  • Coordinate signal dispatching between various devices and locations.
  • Configure centralized communication Gateways and protocol converters.

As part of this role, you will also:

  • System integrate and commission the gateway in the test bed.
  • Verify proper communication between components, including signal checks.
  • Conduct and support Factory Acceptance Tests with sub-suppliers and customers.
  • Provide technical support during the commissioning phase.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or a similar field.
  • Several years of experience in SCADA systems for control systems and energy transmission.
  • Experience in project engineering, customer clarification, and working in complex teams.
  • A solid understanding of SCADA systems as part of energy transmission systems, substations, etc.
  • Technical English language skills.
  • Knowledge of automation technology, remote control interfaces, protocol converters, and data concentrators.
  • Strong background in protocols for energy automation systems like IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850, OPC, DNP, and corresponding communication structures.
  • Integration of subsystems in automation systems, signal-and process-data processing, and utilization of database systems for signal distribution.
