Your Role

As a Systems Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting existing and new product architectures. You will develop architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of products. In particular, you will focus on infotainment devices, including functional blogs like tuners, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, amplifiers, displays, cameras, and Apple CarPlay.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and monitor SYS.3 work planned for all product releases and program increments (PIs)
  • Analyze and structure system capabilities and features based on system requirements
  • Analyze and document system design alternatives
  • Align architecture strategies with Project/Platform Owner
  • Align system architecture with stakeholders
  • Allocate system requirements of any given product release to physical and logical architecture elements in advance of scheduled feature development for that release
  • Responsible for architecture tool chain
  • Definition of logical and physical product system architecture and actively driving integration of SW, HW, and ME by defining and aligning logical & physical interfaces
  • Defines system interfaces (internal and external)
  • Defines CPE/CQE tester design
  • Stakeholder of the Program Increment planning, system demos, and retrospectives
  • Support system FMEA
  • Supports the Product System Safety Architect on the Technical Safety Concept development Defines the system architecture strategies and SYS.3 part of System & Software Development Plan (SSDP)
  • Develops the Product System Architecture & Design
  • Decides about technology usage
  • Defines the Product naming convention, such as system component, parameter, and signal names (used in SYS.3 and all of downstream engineering (SW/HW)

Your Background

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Masters (Bachelors) degree in science or engineering or equivalent professional experience
  • Several years of experience in the field of embedded systems design and model-based development using SysML
  • Advance knowledge on vehicle architecture within the areas of infotainment
  • Deep & detailed understanding of requirements and architectures for silverboxes, tuners, power supplies for antenna & camera devices (phantom supplies, PoC), amplifiers, displays
  • Good understanding on SW architecture like Android Auto
  • Knowledge of all automotive suppliers for smart drivers & MCUs & communication
  • Expert knowledge regarding development of embedded systems
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong team work spirit
  • Fluent English
  • Polish & German language skills
