Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled engineer to lead our design team in delivering complex infrastructure projects. As a principal engineer, you will be responsible for managing the technical delivery of projects, including designing gravity and pressure networks, right of way cross sections, and utilities packages.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of engineering design principles, and experience in working with clients to deliver high-quality solutions. You will also have good knowledge of local authorities' requirements, including RTA, DEWA, DM, DOT, ADWEA, ADM, ADSSC, NWC, and Jeddah Municipality.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the technical delivery of infrastructure projects
  • Design gravity and pressure networks, right of way cross sections, and utilities packages
  • Lead a team of engineers to deliver projects on time and to budget
  • Develop programmes and manage the delivery of submissions
  • Co-ordinate right of way cross sections for all utilities
  • Review and produce reports, drawings, calculations, and presentations
  • Presentation to clients and stakeholders when necessary
  • Contribute to resourcing estimates
  • Develop the capabilities of engineers and senior engineers in the team

Required Skills and Qualifications

Mandatory skills:

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of engineering design principles
  • Experience in working with clients to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Knowledge of local authorities' requirements

Qualifications:

  • BEng/BSc (Hon) or equivalent discipline with minimum 10 years post-graduate experience
  • Chartered Member of associated Professional body membership
  • Modelling of gravity and pressure networks using Bently and Infoworks systems
  • Modelling using Civil 3D
  • Knowledge of Hydrology software preferred
  • Detailed design of engineering solutions
