Job Title: Senior PHP Developer Lead

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer Lead to lead our development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development process and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  1. PHP Development: Strong understanding of core PHP and object-oriented programming principles.
  2. CodeIgniter (CI 1 & 4): Experience working with both legacy (CI 1) and modern (CI 4) versions of the CodeIgniter framework.
  3. Python: Strong proficiency in Python.
  4. MySQL: Hands-on experience in designing, optimizing, and managing MySQL databases.
  5. JavaScript (ES6+): Solid knowledge of JavaScript for both client-side functionality and integration with backend services.
  6. Code Review: Experience in performing peer code reviews, ensuring code quality, readability, and adherence to best practices.
  7. Unit Testing: Familiarity with writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code reliability and regression prevention.
  8. Version Control: Proficient with Git for version control, branching, and collaborative development.
  9. API Integration: Experience working with RESTful APIs for both consuming and creating endpoints.
  10. Performance Optimization: Understanding of performance tuning on both frontend and backend.
  11. Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products.
  12. Technical Leadership: Guide team members in adopting best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps.
  13. Problem Solving: Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address them.
  14. Stay Updated: Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advocate for best engineering practices.
  15. Documentation: Ensure technical documentation and architectural diagrams are well maintained.
