Lead Transformation in Sustainable Transport Solutions

As a Director of System Engineering, Project & Quality Management, you will lead our team in developing sustainable transport infrastructure and play a pivotal role in Volvo Group's transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance the team's capability and capacity to deliver various programs within Electromobility.
  • Oversee a team of engineers specializing in System engineering, Project & Quality Mgmt., Geometry, and Verification.
  • Establish an organization capable of delivering successful outcomes and performing at a high level in the new competency-based structure.
  • Proactively manage risk, anticipate changes, and adopt best practices to drive business growth and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Software-related disciplines.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in Electromobility and product development lifecycle management.
  • Proven track record of leading leaders and working with global organizations, with a strong passion for fostering people development and team growth.
  • Experience in delivering programs involving System Engineering, GA/GAE, and System/HW verification.
  • Ability to balance strategic, holistic end-to-end views with operational considerations.
  • Strong personal credibility, integrity, and creativity.
