Key Role in Cybersecurity Operations and Incident Response

Job Description:

Cybersecurity professionals at a leading technology firm play a pivotal role in safeguarding digital presence. As a leader in cybersecurity operations and incident response, you will oversee teams, leveraging expertise to manage daily security monitoring and investigation tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Security Monitoring and Analysis: Review proposed change requests to rules or policies for firewalls, router access control lists, IPS, and proxies.
  • Incident Response: Perform regular reviews or audits of deployed rulesets to identify drift from baseline.
  • Threat Detection and Response: Conduct real-time security monitoring for potential cybersecurity threats.
  • Alert Management: Analyze alerts and coordinate responses with senior analysts.
  • Triage and Remediation: Perform triage of potential security incidents in accordance with established procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and correct problems, gaps in knowledge, and document materials to enhance services.
Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Routing, HTTP, DNS, SMTP)
  • Network security technologies and hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and other security technologies
  • Strong background in Unix/Linux/Windows Operating Systems, Shell/Bash/Python
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, or Network+
