Senior Informatica Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Informatica expert to design, develop and maintain scalable cloud-based ETL pipelines using Azure services. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in cloud-based analytics and expert-level knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake & Azure App Service.

  • Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale ETL pipelines, processing and transforming datasets into data stores, collaborating with data architects and analysts to deliver efficient data solutions, working closely with data scientists to build effective data workflows, creating and managing data storage solutions including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage.

Key Skills:

  • Strong expertise in Informatica and cloud-based analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake & Azure App Service.
  • Experience with API ingestion and streaming ingestion methods, DevOps (CI/CD), Infrastructure as Code, data warehouse modeling (Kimball, Inmon), and possessing a strong understanding of data quality and integrity.
  • Desirable skills include knowledge of Azure Databricks, Azure IoT, Azure HDInsight + Spark, Azure Stream Analytics, Power BI, Python, and experience in developing security models.
