Automation Test Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated test scripts to ensure application quality and reliability.

As an ideal candidate, you should have a strong understanding of automation frameworks, testing tools, and software development lifecycle (SDLC). You will work closely with the QA, development, and business teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
  • Execute regression, functional, integration, and performance tests.
  • Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and optimize automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in Agile environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Understanding of databases (SQL).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms is a plus.
