Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Role

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Business Intelligence and Data Analytics professional to join our dynamic team within the Investment Banking sector. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data visualisation, dashboard development, and data management to deliver products and discover actionable insights from these products to meet the needs of our stakeholders across operations.

Key Skills and Expertise

You will be a key member of the Data Analytics team collaborating with others to understand requirements, analyse and refine stories, design solutions, implement them, test them and support them in production. You will have:

  • Proficiency in Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar BI tools, with a proven ability to create meaningful dashboards and reports that truly serve the needs of your stakeholders.
  • Strong experience in data wrangling, ETL processes, and managing data pipelines, with a focus on delivering high-quality data for analysis and decision-making.
  • A knack for analysing and interpreting large and complex data sets, with an eye for identifying key trends and insights that matter most to your stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of database management, data pre-processing, data manipulation, SQL, Python, and data warehousing concepts, with the ability to apply these skills in a way that adds value to the business.
  • Familiarity with the investment banking industry, understanding its operations, data needs, and regulatory environment, and being able to translate that knowledge into effective BI solutions.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, contributing to collaborative problem-solving, knowledge sharing, and building a supportive team environment.
