Job Title: SOA Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Middleware Administration professional to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle SOA Suite in both cluster and standalone environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure Oracle SOA Suite: You will be responsible for installing and configuring Oracle SOA Suite in both cluster and standalone environments. This includes setting up JDBC data sources, JMS queues, topics, and connection factories.
  • Upgrade environments: Experience in upgrading from 12.2.1.3 to 12.2.1.4 is highly desirable.
  • Configure WebLogic Servers: You will configure and administer WebLogic Servers in a cluster environment for high availability, load balancing, session replication, JDBC connection pools, scalability, and failover support.
  • Disaster Recovery: You will handle disaster recovery fail-over/fail-back activities.
  • Ldap Integration: You will work on ldap integration with weblogic 12c application server.
  • JVM Heap and GC Algorithms: You will analyze and tune JVM heap and GC algorithms.
  • Weblogic SSL Certificates: You will manage weblogic ssl certificates.
  • Patching: You will apply patches for weblogic server using o-patch utilities.
  • Troubleshooting: You will troubleshoot weblogic soa-related issues from log files, incidents, diagnostic tests, and thread dumps.
  • Work Managers: You will configure work managers in weblogic 12c to optimize application performance and maintain service-level agreements.
  • DB Queries: You will purge old instances and reclaim unused free space by executing db queries.
  • Automation: You will automate daily activities using shell scripts and have knowledge of oracle db queries related to weblogic soa administration.
  • Oracle HTTP and Apache Web Servers: You will have knowledge of oracle http and apache web servers.
  • Communication Skills: You will have ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel, other groups, and flexibility to work on rotational shifts.
  • On-call Support: You will provide 24/7 basis on-call support for production.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in oracle fusion middleware administration, weblogic, and soa for dev, qa, uat, ppe, and production environments.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Experience in giving knowledge transfer to new team members.
