Job Description

Druva is revolutionizing the way organizations approach data protection and management. As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing highly scalable, secure, and performant infrastructure components that form the core of our data protection and data management platform.

The Foundation team at Druva is dedicated to building a cloud file system on the Druva cloud in AWS. To achieve this, various key concepts like file system metadata, versioning, and eventual consistency are used along with leveraging various AWS services like S3, DDB, and Kinesis.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of systems programming, distributed storage, and cloud-native architecture. They will also have experience working on high-scale backend systems, infrastructure platforms, or storage/security products.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in Python or Golang with a focus on scalable, performant systems.
  • Strong experience in cloud-native storage systems, metadata management, or distributed data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience building storage, backup, archival, or data protection products is highly desirable.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and container orchestration using Kubernetes/Docker.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture, message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and gRPC/REST APIs.
