We are thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team as an IT Audit Consultant.

The firm provides comprehensive services, including Assurance, Advisory, Risk, and Compliance. Our Atlanta-based office serves domestic and international clients with extensive experience in SSAE 21 (SOC 1 / SOC 2 / SOC 3) services.

The Position

You will play a vital role in driving the firm's image and service level by assisting Senior IT Audit Consultants and reporting to Managers, Executive Directors, or CEOs on select strategic engagements.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in planning activities to identify client needs/service opportunities for assurance, advisory, risk, and compliance services.
  • Ownership of engagement growth and service delivery, including planning, execution, and reporting, working closely with supervisors and clients to coordinate efforts on engagements such as System and Organization Controls (SOC) Examinations, PCI DSS Assessments, HITRUST Assessments, IT Audits, internal audit engagements, pre and post implementation assessments, and issuance of reports under AICPA Consulting and Attestation Standards.
  • Executing engagements with clients, focusing on leveraging industry and functional insights from our advisory business to bring greater value to clients.
  • Designing and executing high-quality, integrated, and efficient audit procedures.
  • Contributing towards building audit methodology, working paper guidelines, quality review standards, and communication protocols. Developing audit programs and procedures to establish audit processes, streamlining control testing to ensure effective operations.
  • Preparing and communicating issues, risk, and recommendations to client leadership, including ongoing insights on potential corrective action plans.
  • Identifying potential clients and generating leads for AARC-360.
  • Adhering to all quality standards and processes, including the firm's independence requirements, for acquiring clients, opportunities, and submitting proposal and contract documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in IT Audit, preferably in a public accounting firm.
  • Strong understanding of SSAE 21 (SOC 1 / SOC 2 / SOC 3) services and other relevant regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
